TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Styling Collective Terms and  Conditions, Photography agreement and Payment agreement are outlined below. 

QUOTES

The costs and expenses cited in your quote are our best estimates given the information provided by you. If additional information is forthcoming, the specifications change, or the scheduling changes, the quote may change. Any changes made to the original concept agreement may incur additional charges at the discretion of The Styling Collective.  
Changes as mentioned above may impact the final invoice provided to you by us. Quotes are valid for 30 days and may be subject to change. 
Should any package quotes run over the quoted timeframe, additional time will be charged at an hourly rate. 
Travel charges to Byron Bay, Byron Bay Hinterland, Gold Coast Hinterland, Brisbane or Northern Rivers will be charged. 

PAYMENT

To secure the booking for your photography project a deposit of 50% is required.  The final payment is due on the day of your scheduled photoshoot. The client will be invoiced by us and payment is to be made to the dedicated bank account provided by us within 3 working days of the invoice date. Failure to make payment may effect the scheduled photoshoot date or time. 
Any revisions, alternation and modifications that add work to the project scope in the original agreed quote will be invoiced in full separately and require payment before the release of any images. 
Should the photoshoot be booked and scheduled to take place within 7 days, the client will be invoiced for the full amount. 
6 Month Packages require a 50% upon agreeing and scheduling. This payment is non-refundable, but is transferable in the event of client or photographer illness/emergency as well as inclement weather. The remaining 50% of the package price is due when the third photoshoot is booked and will be invoice by us.

CANCELLATIONS

The client agrees to give a minimum of 24 hours notice of any changes in schedule, time, date or location. Failure to give 24 hours notice will result in the loss of the 50% deposit made at the time of scheduling and further possible charges based on the notice given. 
6 Month Subscription Packages permit one date or time change per shoot. The rescheduled time or date must be rescheduled to fall in the same calendar month – an additional fee will be charged if the new scheduled date falls outside of this time frame.

LATE ARRIVAL

Should the client arrive to the shoot later than the scheduled time agreed upon by both parties, the time will be taken off of the photography session. It is also the clients responsibly to ensure they, the model and/or any products required for the shoot are all at the shoot locations on time.

WEATHER

As our photography projects are  based only on natural lighting, in the case of a weather event including but not limited to overcast weather, rain or heavy storms, we expressly reserve the right to reschedule any shoot taking place outdoors, in studio or at a private residence should we feel this will interfere with the final outcome of images. The shoot will be rescheduled to the next available date.
We are not responsible for any fees incurred by the client in this situation including but not limited to props, perishables (including food, flowers, greenery etc), travel expenses, loss of income or missed deadlines (including the delay of images being delivered). 

PROPERTY / DELIEVERY

We will take all reasonable precautions to safeguard the property (e.g. products) you entrust to us. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we are, to the fullest extent of the law, not responsible for loss, destruction or damage of such property. All property (e.g. products) can either be picked up or we can deliver it to you across Australia using Australia Post’s regular mail service or private courier. The client is responsible for all costs involved in the delivery and return delivery of all items.  

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise advised, all intellectual property rights are our sole and exclusive property as and when they are created. Unless specifically agreed in writting, the license does not confer any intellectual property rights to you, except as a licensee.
It is the clients full responsibility to ensure any third party including print media, bloggers, advertisers, public relations firms etc using the images provided, follow all Intellectual Property guidelines.

COPYRIGHT

All images including RAW and JPEG files remain the property of The Styling Collective.

FINAL IMAGES 

All final high-resolution jpeg images will be delivered to the client via Dropbox link. This link will be emailed to the client and it is the responsibility of the client to ensure they have the relevant access to a Dropbox account. 
We are not liable for image corrections, adjustments, errors or omissions once a Dropbox link has been delivered to the client. Should additional editing be required the client will be invoiced accordingly and payment must be made before re-edited images will be released.
Should the client require additional file formats including but not limited to TIF and PSD files, the client will incur an editing fee based on the quantity of images required. 
As per package information, images included will be a varied assortment of flatlays, styled shots and close-ups as per the photographers discretion based on the product unless otherwise agreed with the client before the shoot takes place. 
Under no circumstances will RAW images be released to the client. 
 

OVERALL OUTCOME

The Styling Collective is not responsible for the overall outcome of your business success
